Job Description

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Perform administrative functions and provide leadership for the test department respective shift, as needed, in addition to normal technician duties and responsibilities of testing/troubleshooting CCA’s, sub-assemblies and units.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate with the test technicians, assemblers, and the management to ensure quality products and timely deliveries are achieved

  • Liaison with management on employee action requirements and employee issues

  • Maintain communication logs and reports of shift activities for management review

  • Oversee tasks and establish priorities for shift workers 

  • Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

     

    Other Job Functions

  • Ensure shift personnel accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner

  • Ensure shift personnel adhere to ISO standards and company policies at all times

  • Perform normal technician duties as assigned by Manager

  • Other duties may be assigned

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:  

    This position is responsible for Test Technician(s) Repair and Rework Specialist(s) and Assembler(s) on the assigned shift.

Strong and pronounced problem solving and analytical skills

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

A minimum of 3 years of experience planning, scheduling and leading tasks and/or employees

Experience with MS Office and MRPs

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Production environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (use of arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity for small parts assembly, frequent use)

Ability to lift  up to 30 pounds

20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses
