Job Description

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing a variety of complex accounting tasks involved in maintaining financial records and the processing of related data.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Audit accounts payable vouchers

  • Process sales tax payments and year end 1099s

  • Review open Accounts Payable (AP) report and resolve unresolved issues

  • Process monthly invoice accrual and enter adjusting journal entries

  • Reconcile employee benefit General Ledger (GL) accounts and assist with preparing monthly GL reconciliations

  • Review corporate payroll reports to audit for corrections and/or adjustments and to replicate for local records

  • Manually assign Project Labor Codes (PLC) for employees in MRP as applicable

  • Audit and review timesheets to ensure completion and identified errors are corrected

  • Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

                                                                                        

    Other Job Functions

  • Monitor and receive freight for allowable employee personal shipments

  • Prepare fringe adjustments and timesheets for new outsourced personnel

  • Maintain and manage accounting files for records retention

  • Assist with creating and reviewing company policies and procedures

  • Other duties may be assigned

    None.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

HS Diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably in a related industry

A minimum level of advanced MS Excel and MS Word experience is a must

Experience working with ERPs and/or MRPs

 

 

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
